A couple friends were taking a hiking trip up Snoqualmie so I decided to tag along with my board. Took the normal summer trail up from near the Snow Lk. trhd. which was mostly free of snow. I fact, as suspected, anything remotely south facing was mostly devoid of snow. Boarded the upper part of the Crooked Couloir (as shown in Volken's guide) for a couple hundred vf in heavy, consolidating (yet sweet) 'powder'. Also managed to link snowpatches for about 800-1000 vf back down the SE face on great-to-mediocre corn depending on aspect. All-in-all, very depressing snow-depth wise.
