Weather forecast was bad last night, suggested only a slight opening of clouds around midday. However, when we heard on the radio that St. Anton was clear at 730AM, we decided to head for Kuhtai, since the same weather should arrive there an hour or so later. Could have looked at their webcam too, but that might have been cheating?
Anyway, we found superb powder on north facing slopes, bluebird weather in the teens. This training program should whip me into shape for sure. No worries about eating apfel strudel with vanilla sauce after the tour today.
