After spending Saturday doing home repairs it was time to go skiing. Got a ate start but hit the Snopark by 11. There was a place on the road in. Bunch of kids had snow camped up there and were coming down. Mostly snowshoer's but a few skiers. Lots of dogs as usual ad post hole tracks from parents toting sleds on way up. Went up snowshoe track as there was no ski track to speak of very fast no skins required. I got to the top and headed over to view point and took a few pictures of ski areas and up and down valley.
I then headed over toward Lakes. As I was passing Lake #1 some folks asked if I knew where we were, I said, "Kendall Lake #1 they asked where #2 was and I pointed they were coming down slope from #3 and I said, "It gets kind of sketchy up there" and they agreed. I continued on to Lake #2 and skied to other side. Nice views of peaks.
I headed out toward start and ate lunch on ridge deciding to ski down slope to road. Snow kind of sucked by now as sun made it quite heavy. Very hard to turn. Made it down to roat and quick trip back. Better skiers than me had made some nice tracks down Kendall Knob. The snow was nice in the morning but got heavy in the afternoon. I got spooked a bit on the steeps as snowballs grew.
