Decided to go up the south side of the road towards Buzz's Ridge. Apparently there is a cabin at the crest if you follow the road, but we got tired of skinning the flat road and instead followed a steep trail hoping to cut time. we ended up skinning up to a saddle directly above the open slopes on the south side of the pass. We dropped from the saddle and got about 1200 vf of open Kootenay powpow. I have some serious unfinished business at this locale. Pictures to follow soon!
