Kendall area N, W slopes mostly; c.5600-4000

Best skiing since Thanksgiving! Could still feel the crust occasionally, but overall the foot of new exceeded expectations. Stability held well, better than expected. Did see evidence of natural release slabs circa 5K on W/S side that ran far enough into the trees to give pause, most likely from yesterday (12/26). But got nothing to release ourselves today.

All around NWAC prediction held up well (good job Dallas!), but there will always be plenty of days where yellow is orange, or orange is yellow. Gotta go to know... best not to depend entirely on predictions as they are just that.

Saw these two drop some steeper chutes while skinning back up--

Paused in the skin track fully expecting releases, but it held well.
