Quick report on Kautz conditions. Climbed then skied Kautz over Sat/Sun. Kautz is currently all snow, no ice. Climbed with two axes and crampons, but never felt need to place gear. Most exposed point is the first few steps off the Turtle (fixed lines currently buried). Skied at 12.15pm Sunday after hanging out for 90+ minutes, very good corn. Upper Turtle skied well, but by Lower Castle snow was mush. Big sloughs all the way down the fan.
