Trevor, Chris and I went to Wedge. First we hiked up 1200m to Wedgemount Lake

The views were OK I suppose

and optimism was high for next day's project

Conditions looked good and weather promising the next day early in the morning

But as the highest peak in this general area, Wedge seems to attract its own weather

As we had no other pressing engagements we kept soldiering on

The weather window never came and we descended 50 degree icy slopes after waiting in whiteout

Of course the weather was good in valley bottom

It wasn't pretty but it's off the ticklist
