Mainly posting for a short conditions update.
I hit the trail head about 9am, what a mess! The lack of recent precipitation is evident by the chundered skin track(s)(s)(s) litering the area! Wow! Saw one skin track straight up the gut leading to the top of Bullion- yikes! Still others more safely routed in the trees.
Conditions on the N facing bowl were firm, but soft. Some wind affect, variable but overall decent. Dropped backside into Union creek early before it got too warm. Found some freshies, lots of lines left really. Followed a well laid skin track through the trees back to top (lots of dog paw prints), but once again saw another laid straight up the gut of an unprotected SE aspect; SE aspects had releases from Sundays warming. Plenty of hissing surface hoar on shaded aspects.
