Road was clear to the no wheeled vehicles sign at 3,000'. Snow covered and skinnable except for a small patch to the TH. Consistent snow in the forest didn't start until 4,300' where it was a supportive rain crust. Wind-affected but generally soft and enjoyable snow from the treeline to the upper Coleman Glacier. Rime and sastrugi nightmare on the Roman Wall.
There was almost no wind up high which made the mountain unusually warm and smelly. A flock of small birds flew past at 9,000'. Feels very much like spring, but without the corn.

Awesome. Summit in January. Well played.
