Went up on a tour to check out conditions - I think so-so qualifies it.  In the steep forest approach we found some instability about a foot down that easily sheared, so we decided to keep in the trees and find some mellow lines.  Was a good day out.  Lower than about 5k the dense snow (maybe you could imagine it powder) was skiable, but the underlying crust more prominent at lower elevations.

Coverage also appears quite low for this time of year.  In the forest deadfall was covered but visablely lurking, and choosing a line through the steeps took some consideration.  But it was better than house-cleaning or whatever.
