Plenty of folks up at the pass for their Wednesday morning calisthenics. We found excellent blower pow on S-SW-W slopes, but east-facing treed slopes were littered with tree-bomb holes. An open ridge running N-S had a ~2" wind slab near the crest at 9am, which was over 12" by 11.  Opted to avoid open slopes after that. Still, great skiing to be had in the trees.

Looks nice! Thanks for the report, I was wondering how it was holding up with the wind.

It was!  I guess you've probably seen the NWAC report for Snoqualmie already, but there's also an interesting user-submitted obs showing slab depth:

We were also in the Kendall area and did not observe large slab failure like this, but we didn't ski anything that open near treeline later in the day.

Thanks for the conditions update before the long weekend!
