Another great day with spring conditions in the Olympics. Skinned up the first mile then booted up the rest. An ice axe or whippet would have been smart as the exposure was significant and ice made skinning with ski crampons challenging. Yesterday high overcaste and lowland clouds never burned off much but today the peaks were brilliant in the full sun.
