What a beautiful day to celebrate MLK! Clear, calm, cold, and wind free. Nice turns off the ridge above Maggies with a supportive crust topped by a few inches of powder with large hoar frost crystals. Dust begins at Double Parking and about a foot of snow on the road at the Switchback Trailhead! Had the entire place to myself today? :)
Nice! How was it to get up into the park? Did you tour from the gate near town? If so, that's quite the approach.
