Beautiful day of exploration with good friends in Commonwealth Basin. 9 degrees at 9am at Snoqualmie parking lot. We planned on Red Mountain, then ended up skiing laps on Cave Ridge. Steering clear of wind loaded W/SW aspects, we found some nice snow, some variable with a 2-3" soft wind skin. Booted up an aesthetic chute, dialed in group dynamics and some new gear. Home by 5pm. I think that this must be the place.
