Dropping in off the top of Mazama Face, a couple hundred yards south of where the lower Skyline Trail tops out on Mazama Rridge?

The clump of trees just before the east facing slopes of the back bowl; we headed down Mazama Ridge to jump off and make a run down the slopes above the Paradise Valley Road, then back up to eat lunch, and ski the front of Mazama (best powder I've ever seen there).

It was very cold above the back bowl, probably 13-15 F, with a breeze, and my old Marmot 3-layer Goretex parka was barely sufficient:
