Not wanting to shell out another $53/person to ski the lifts. Marilyn, our dog Lucy and I decided to explore the north side of the highway above the parking lots for the ski area. We found several short by nice open glades with some good powder. There were some runs that would have been nice with another couple of feet to completely bury the rocks.
