We were on our way to Ruth when we decided to go someplace new so we turned off on the Twin Lakes road to see how far Jeff could push his little Subaru up. We got more than half way, skinned the road from there and found pretty damn good snow on the north side of Jack. You had to watch out for rocks (stay in the center of gullies and watch for bumps) and we all scrapped a couple times, but nothing terrible. Great views and a good first day of the season for me.
