8:00 start on a perfect day. Glacier Basin trail easy to follow though the washout is uneven and hard to walk in ski boots. No crevasses or sags seen on the glacier/ soft enough to skin straight up. Got to the prow at 1:00. Could hear the helicopter involved in the recovery operation. Smooth perfection on the way down. Only two tracks/ just five of us up there. No cracks/ whoomphs/ sloughs/ nothing. Didn't get too soft until off the glacier in the basin. Out before 3:00.
