I took small window of weather opportunity to scout East/Central Cascade, Longs and Ingalls pass. Originally I was going to tag Fortune Peak. Last weekend one of team members had medical issue and we had to turn around at the pass. Today, I became solo due to partner’s unforeseen circumstance. Overall, snow conditions were stable around the pass. There were about 1/2 inches of new snow on top of rain crust. Below the pass had suffered from atmospheric river a lot. However, I couldn’t find much rain damage after around 4500-5K ft  and higher elevation. Since it was by myself, I didn’t want to summit any peak solo even though snow pack seemed stable. Skiing was very enjoyable. And, yes, I took 10-mile snowmobile ride to the TH. I will definitely be back tag few peaks in that area.

Well done, Sang - bummer I couldn't join you, but thanks for scouting out the area.
