Victor and I headed up the East side of Humpback Mtn. via Humpback creek and the Lake Annette trail to the old railroad.
From the road we skinned to the summit in boot deep to knee deep fresh snow.
We delighted in delicious powder turns for nearly 2000 ft from the summit before heavier snow lay way to the road.

Nice...we were up on silver on sunday and saw a couple slabs release from those normal spots on humpbacks east face.
Chris, it is just off I-90 exit 47 and yes it was very nice! ;)
Spicoli, did you guys access Silver from Annette lake?
We were thinking of that route and decided on Humpback as it looked inviting from atop Granite on Thursday.
Yes, there was some avy debris in spots on the route, definitely not the place to be in less than ideal conditions.

Great photos. Ron and I have skied up there in years past and had a very nice time, however there wasn't as much snow then as you had.
nice pictures, where are you?
We came up thru the "meadows" on the north side and gained the w ridge...hence our viewpoint on humpback. Nice run down to annette off silver though....worth a visit
Nice report Lisa, Great pictures!
