Great outing from Hidden Lake TH today. Snowfree drive to the parking lot with minor boulder obstacle in road that is easy to navigate near the end. Booted for 45 minutes before skinning up to ridge above Hidden Lake at 6900 ft. Panoramic views of Baker, Glacier, and Cascade River Road peaks with El Dorado, Forbidden, and out to Sahale Arm and Johannesburg. Ski conditions with good turns and minimal mush. A good window on this route currently!
