What a spring it was in the Teannaway! Our Leavenworth ski crew made various trips to the area from late March onwards. Smooth corn close to the car, freezing nights, the peaceful beauty of the area...there are many reasons to visit this magic place. On June 1, Phil, Pat, and I hiked and skinned to Gallagher Head Lake from the De Roux Creek trailhead. Four miles of pleasant walking led us to plenty of snow. A good overnight freeze made for fantastic ski conditions.

Nice pics! Later in the summer, I've made that same approach only to find Gallager Head lake surrounded by jeeps and pull-behind campers!
