A quick dawn patrol put us up high for sunrise. Alas, our vantage didn't let us see first light on Red, but it must have been beautiful.

For the powder-starved, the ~6" of rightside up fresh felt wonderful underfoot. Bond quality was quite good at ~4.5k and below, moderate above. Snow wasn't super light, but contrails flew.

A couple laps at Alpy turned up fun skiing too - there was enough powder to go around. A tiny traverse above the lower entrance to International cut the top 6" loose easily.

An excellent morning after so much Snoqualmie sadness.

=hilarious!

Yep. He brought implements of dental hygiene along on a sub-2 hour tour.

One cold night, after quite too much drink, old man Nansen came to me in a vision, and shared this with a smile and wink. He accent was think, and strange to my ear, but later that day the meaning was clear.
