After three weeks of no skiing a group of us from B'ham crashed in a friend's basement in Revelstoke and enjoyed the best skiing conditions of the year at the pass. Up to two feet of fresh storm snow with stable conditions were found on all aspects and the tree skiing was amazing. We scoped fresh tracks on griz shoulder, the Dome, and from the top of Little Sifton.
The highpoint of the trip was skiing the south face of Mt. Rogers with a couple of Reve locals. The south face of Rogers is an honest 500 meter face at on unbroken angle of 45 degrees. The summit is a tad under 11 K feet and provided views of the Rockies to the west and the major peaks of the Selkirks to the north. It rarely comes into midwinter conditions and blessed us with a long powder run. From the bottom of the face we traversed 4 k over to Mt. Tupper across the Swiss Glacier to catch up with another reve group that had skied a line on the south face of the Swiss Peaks. From the shoulder of Tupper we dropped down 5,500 ft. directly to the Trans Canada. An outragous finish to a fantastic ski ascent. My last day of my mini holiday was spent an hour west of Reve tree skiing in the Monashees at a local stash. Lovely 1k ft. runs in wide open glades with 14 inches of powder.
Hopefully the conditions will hold for all the bodies heading up next weekend. (Myself included)

Do you have any pics from the TR?
Forgot my camera. I have asked my two companions on the ascent to email me some photos. When I get some pics I will forward to Charles.
