Nothing beats low expectations. Given the warm temperatures on Saturday, I had a feeling the snow would stink come Sunday. That said, I alway enjoy a day out in the woods perfecting my tele-crust-parallel survival turns.
I must say I was a bit surprised with how easily a NW aspect RB test failed given the moderate avy prediction. We found a clean slide layer at 18 inches that released with partial body weight. Seemed to slide way too easily for my taste. Heres hoping that layer starts to bond this week.
