16-20" pole penetration (10-12" ski pen) nice settled 3-4 day old fresh snow in the trees skied soft on all aspects 5400-3800'. Slopes that had received solar radiation in the past couple days had a firm crust about 8" down. Staying in < 25 degree terrain we found no slide potential. NWAC reported that others found a 40 degree south facing slope to be much different.
