We got a late start, lots of blue sky, crisp temps, no wind. Skinning was nice for a change, four inches slightly settled fresh on the firm base. Boottop light powder skiing on NE slopes down toward Cement Basin, then up the next ridge north. North facing gullies there were quite thinly covered, two of us went for it, two turned back west and skied less rocky, more timbered slopes as fog came in.
Skied back up west to the East/Norse col and then down to the parking lot on pretty smooth light fresh snow atop the old crust. Much better skiing than expected.

So you dump your skis on me and then rub it in when I'm at work?
Heh -- thanks for the report. I hope we keep getting the goods. When do you head south?

Heh -- thanks. I had Silas sign a Release Of Caring Whether The Ski Will Work afterward... :) It's a learning opportunity for me.

Better skis than a used car!
Nice pics Silas! We're all sitting here in the lecture hall very jealous!
