Feb 8 Cowlitz Rocks MRNP

Jeff Spann ,Gary Vogt and myself. Successfully smuggled Gary into the park in my ski box. A little awkward getting his old bones out of box. Successfully repaired Jeffs old version superloops with vise grip juniors and hoseclamp.
We basically hardwired him to his skis. Sucessfully had a good day despite a little flat light on the way out kept us from full tilt. Still some deposited powder up there and forcast was good as gold. Nice sunshine till late afternoon. Had worse. I'm feeling plenty good as I went in with a achy knee and got the fix i needed.
conditions ranged from powder on solid base to trap crust. Gary got to ride home inside the car
