Went up to Canada in search of pow.
Spent Jan 29th at Kootenay Pass. It hadn't snowed much in the previous week but there was plenty of untracked left.
Scoping our first run at the pass. Two mandatory airs in the middle... thanks Andy for making sure my first turns of the trip were super-sketch.

Jan 30th I dropped off the backside of the Whitewater ski area for more freshies. The slackcountry there is out of hand!
Jan 31 - Feb 7 I spent the week at the Boulder Hut in the Southern Purcells. We had splitter weather and decent stability in the alpine. I didn't know any of the folks on the trip before hand but there were some shredders and we were able to send some amazing lines.
The owners of the hut, Mark and Sarah are super cool. I definitely recommend that place for skiers of all abilities. Plenty of tree skiing for low-vis days and the alpine terrain is excellent.
Ascending the south ridge of Mount Levesque

Mount Levesque from Ptarmigan Peak. We ascended the ridge on the left, descended the large ramp on the right.
