Skied part of the slot and then opted out to ski the south face since the slot was an icy scoured wind tunnel.
The south face had about 5 inches of fresh snow and was being crossloaded. Nothing but sluff moving.
On our way down we briefly spoke with another duo that intended to ski the slot couloir. Maybe they investigated further down the slot and found good snow.
Happy to ski powder again.
