A beautiful day to be in Paradise. Lots of vitamin D.
The skin track was perfect today (thanks) and the conditions greatly exceeded expectations. Snow was soft and deep below Panorama Point, but moderately windswept above. I turned back a few hundred feet above P Point, amid light wind crust.
Rocks and trees were shedding snow in the sun, no signs of instability otherwise.
Sorry no pix.

Big slide from top to bottom in the Nisqually Chute and a big one off the upper right glacier. Not sure when the chute slid, picked up a couple who had just skied it it and ferried them back to Paradise. Two other tracks down the chute.
Thanks for turning around a picking us up.
The chute skied real nice.

Nice videos!
Freebird, nice meeting you two and thanks again for breaking trail for us geezers. Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you the pictures we took of you guys.
Letty and I looked from the bridge on Sunday and remarked that If you weren't too concerned about your ski base, you might indeed make the run. Nice to see it, and let's hope for more..
Not too bad down to the bridge.
