Too many people at the Burton Hut. Nice foam pads at the shanty above Sentinel Bay. Too much wind and powder on Garibaldi.
Finally got the cross-country freeride style descent on the Northwest Face of Castle Towers.
The Barrier has generous coverage to ski to Rubble Creek. Do yourself a favor and skip the switchbacks on the descent. But, whatever you do, rejoin the trail below the switchbacks! Do not try to follow Rubble Creek to the trailhead! I repeat, do not try to follow Rubble Creek to the trailhead!
