Last saturday's storm snow has settled from about 75cm to about 45cm and ski penetration is down to normal levels. I have skied 7 of 8 days since the storm and since Wednesday I've been able to see my tips most of the time. Its no longer mind blowing, but it's still good. Here are pics from today with Adappen (we skied 4 laps for 2600').

We did find the same weak layer that NWAC is talking about in the Wenatchee area in low angle north facing slopes that had remnant snow from before last week's storm.

The east and south facing slopes at my place were mostly snow free before last week, so no persistent weak layer exists. But the low angle north facing slopes had old snow and were very touchy with echoing whoomps and column tests that failed at 10 in one spot and TWO in another. FAILED AT TWO! Holy shit!

Cool looking rock!!!
