Due to recent procreation, my touring has mostly been restricted to the slackcountry around my local resort but I finally got a chance to get up to the Duffey Lake area a couple weeks ago for a great day. Socked in and snowing during most of the ascent so we thought we'd have to stick to the trees, but the clouds parted enough for good vis just as we gained the ridge and we were able to ride a couple wide open slide paths. The Duffey always delivers!

Brian, do you not own this book? So worth it. Even if you never planned to ski any of the many, many, many routes, so worth it just as a coffee table book or kept within reach of the throne.
