2/11 Skied Kings Ridge from 3/4 height and it was too deep and we were hitting things we couldn't even begin to see...The bottom steeper section only skied well for me by sitting back on my Hellbents.??? There was a layer way at the bottom just a few inches above ground. I wouldn't have trusted it on anything over 30 degrees, but with the snow depth and smaller features we skied, the main danger was hitting stumps.

2/16 should have gone back sooner! It had continued to snow during the week and the pack consolidated but still had powder on top. A group of 3 good skiers beat us to it and by the way their tracks looked they nailed it! I still had great tree skiing without worry on coverage. The problem was the sun turned the light snow into crust on the Ridge by3:30. High north facing trees may still be real good.

Very good coverage now. If the crust becomes skiable or gets covered this could last a couple weeks.
That big snow has consolidated and is a good protective layer now. It's super fun to ski lowland stuff. I bet you can ski above your house in Wenatchee now!

Based on my backyard I'm certain of it.
