Conditions have changed.  Such a beautiful day though.
Carla and i started late (11am) recovering from a long trip the day before.  Clear blue skies.  South side had a slight crust and with the spring like condtitions changes to mush on our way back. 
Fresh snowsled tracks and Skyline lake totally tracked up in every which direction by the sled.  They even made it to the ridge.  We were dreading what we would find.  Skied out since a day late?  Snow machine trashed?

To our surprise a few ski tracks, good skin tracks and plenty of freshies for us to ski fresh til we decided we'd better head down the other side to the car while our legs had life in them. AND not a soul around?  Go figure, such a popular spot and all to ourselves.

Snow was 4-6" with a few deposited deeper area.  Light with a tad bit of hoar starting to form.  More detail, but the new storms have come...

Oh, on our way down the south side to the car we did see the same guy walking three dogs we saw a month ago on Welldiggers.
