Dave Perkins and I met for a late morning tour up Guye Pk. The pickings are slimmer this year ya know so we were happy to be out in a little fresh. Beautiful old growth as we gained the ridge between Guye and Snoqualmie. Dave said he hadn't skied it with such little snow (was my first time in). Easterly flow didn't help fill it in any more than the 1-2" new. Skied like dust on "dragon skin". Cool line nonetheless -- Thank you Dave !
Wouldn't call it low hanging fruit this year maybe low hanging dehydrated fruit ;)

It was a fun day. Thanks for going. I should say last section is not skiable. After the hourglass S-turn you will need to bail out to skiers left. I found out the hard way ;D
Pic two looks like a real fun line. Thanks for the TR.
Beautiful Couloir pics! Did you get the ridge from the Alpental or Commonwealth side? Thanks.
We did it from Commonwealth but but I have gone up from Alpental and skied the south side of Mt Snoqualmie down to Cave Ride then made my way over to Gyue Peak down the Couloir and out Commonwealth. Then either walk or thumb a ride back to Aplental.
That is a fun one, but man the exit looks horrible. Thanks for the report, just in time for my day off.
