On my way back from Whistler, I heard about a storm headed for Baker and spent the evening at the base lodge parking lot. Woke to 4" new and snowing hard. Everything was open within the ski area. Face shots were had along the edges and in the trees.
For you Baker backcountry enthusiast's, there appears to be enough coverage in the backcountry. Apparently it rained on Saturday and then started snowing on Sunday. The ski area still had the gates closed above Hemispheres chair and the Canyon. A few brave souls thrashed their way down Gabl's and The Chute.
Visibility was minimal so it was impossible to see the coverage toward Table Mtn but when I skied outside the Blueberry cat track, it was knee deep and feeling good on the face. With the forecasted high for the next couple of days, it should be good outback.

I was there also on Wednesday. Sorry I missed you Zap. One thing to add is that in gentle unskiied spots, one wallowed in about two feet of fresh. Very unconsolidated. Otherwise Baker area probably has the best converage. Wonderful day there.
