Just mess'n around Edith Creek Basin on Sunday. After days of rain and melt, we had wind swept, break-through crust. OK for skinning around, hard to ski. Winds gusted up to 35-40 mph - ice crystals in the face (I'm used to it.) Definitely need some fresh snow followed by a little sun!
