I was able to spend Christmas in the Monashees this year.  Most days were spent skiing with my daughter on my back but I was able to get out with the boys for a run or two.  Ski conditions are good in this part of the Monashees right now with an average of 200 cms at 1900 meters.

Jeff,  Very nice TR and video.  That was a beautiful gladed run.

Jeff, what's the driving time to that area from say Kamloops or Kelowna? Do you need a sled or helicopter to get in there?

The staging area is 45 mins. east of Vernon, which is less than an hour from Kelowna.  The lodge is your typical fly in backcountry lodge.  Very nice lodge with some fun tree skiing.
