Skinned up to top of Palmer with jcweinx last night for after-work turns. Dark when we left around 5 (not sure on time). We were counting on the moon for some lumens but it never showed. so many stars, Carl Sagan woulda loved it.
Snow firm; good for cramponing, but not so icy to make for bad skiing. Should have brought a stronger headlight; had a close call with a rock that looked like snow. Pretty good day for pre-season conditions.
