Dec 26, 2004, Tumalo and Mt. Bachelor
Mt. Bachelor:
I started the day at Mt. bachelor ski area earl in the morning. We have got 4-5 inches of fresh very light snow which is sitting very hard layer of snow. fresh snow was not deep enough. I did a few run in the morning and head to Tumalo.
Tumalo:
Started at Dutchman's flat parking lot. Mark and I climbed to top and skied at the back side. Bottom layer is very crispy and fresh very light layer is not very deep at the back side so it was not a great condition in this side.Every turn I hit the crispy layer
later we skied west side between the trees. Snow is in this side much better and deep. It was a great skiing in the west side. We skied to the parking lot.
Weather condition : All day cloudy
