Crystal Southback, best day of the season

No need in this post for my typical extended blathering on with self-deprecating comments and friendly jabs at partner (and human perpetual motion machine) Mike.
Because it was a perfect day. Except maybe for my attire, but that would be a matter of opinion.
We were able to skin from the bottom of Quicksilver (just above the old midway lift station, for all you ultra-locals out there) and ski all the way back down to the same point.
Skiing was superb throughout -- snow was just this side of too soft. East face of the King was sublime. Run from the Throne to bottom of Quicksilver was just like a proper, legit ski run.
Not a breath of wind. Sat on the top of the King with shirt off for part of our lunch break.
My favorite day of the 2019-2020 season, backcountry or lift-served.
