Here is a quick observation report for the Crystal Mountain Backcountry on December 3rd.
From what I saw there was no evidence of Naturally occurring avalanches but there was a small instability of the top 4 inches, mainly on SW slopes.
East slopes seemed to hold well but have become somewhat sun affected and heavy(ish).
NW slopes were stable, smooth, and rode awesome.
There was a obvious rain crust below 4600 feet.
We could use a deeper snowpack but for the beginning of December everything is looking good.
MASSIVE SURFACE HOAR CRYSTALS!
I hope this helps and be safe out there.
