It was so good today I thought I should let folks know before its probably gone on Thursday. I skied just a few runs this morning on the groomers and it was very, very good. Snow on Lucky Shot and Iceberg was already soft and rippen fun by 930 or so. Can't say what happened before or after as we went back country at 1015 on some SE facing slopes for the rest of the day. The corn snow was the best I've had in years. So good I have to go back tomorrow. You should too. Maybe 10-15 mph wind on the ridges, calm and warm just a 100 feet down. Each climb was in T shirts to the ridgetop. Snow stayed in shape for a long time. Our first run was ~ 1100 and last ~3pm, all outstanding. North aspects and shady slopes were a necessary evil to be endured for the prize. We hit some northish west slopes and they were not good as they had not consolidated. Didn't hit any west slopes so can't say how they were. Weather looks the same tomorrow. Go get it.
Yes this has to be the longest stretch of good spring skiing we have had in years.
Lucky we got that storm in Dec so there is a base to feed off!
Hopefully in spring (or sooner ???) we turn it around have the longest stretch of powder skiing in years.

I'm envious! Had to work Tues, knowing it was going to be good on the south sides, as probably many other TAY'ers thought while at the job.
Glad you had a good day!
