Skied up to Castle Pinnacle saddle in the afternoon. Great way to avoid crowds at Paradise. (We saw only two climbers.) Snow was sun cupped but very little boot tracks. Perfect corn higher up turning to mash potatoes down lower. (Still only 10cm ski penetration with an 85 waist ski. ) Parking is plowed at summer trailhead. Didn’t drop on the south side, but there is still snow for it.
