Bluebird Cold Powder Day on Kings Ridge

Best day of the year from 3500’ up - and on more northern aspects. Spring is coming, however. Lower slopes with sun exposure were showing ground around trees, but higher slopes have 5 or more feet in sun sheltered, open areas. Lower slopes were looking like corn - but we were leaving 18” deep tracks up higher. Crystals were out in force, as the day wore on. As the ridge seldom gets above 30 degrees, we felt safe, but did note a crust in shallow areas, and especially areas with sun exposure.
