Powder day in October? How about back to back powder days on Saturday/Sunday. Watched the weather all week and took the risk on Saturday to go scope it out while the rest of the group stood by waiting for my report. 2.5+ feet at blue lake TH, was able to skin the summer trail all the way to Blue Lake. From there we skinned up and over the North peak. The last 25-30 feet we had to boot pack but fairly easy/safe.

The backside bowl was perfection - great base, no rock scrapes from any group members, and we were able to do about 4 runs before making our way through the backside. While there are some rocks sticking up on the summer trail, they are easily avoidable and all 4 of us came out with zero damage to our skis to prove it.

Holy smokes, this looks amazing. Kudos for finding the goods.

Curious how you got the first shot, which is clearly an aerial. Drone?

Looks to good to be true! Nice tracks

Oh man, good score

Guessing anything in this zone (or similar along highway 20) is quite the endeavor after tomorrow with the highway closing?
