Busted Forecast!

Andrew Burns and I started at the 7245 rd. We were hoping for some predicted freshies to smoothen our skiing. Very little precip maybe a dusting. Basically it was a textbook tour of all available snow textures and conditions and corresponding ski techniques. We were hoping to ski some open cornish or powder over corn lines back down. But we opted to ski the trail back out because it was a known quality . The weather was quite nice and not windy. Perhaps the best skiing was in Windy Gulley which seems to always have powder. All in all it was a good day for some New England style trail skiing. And as a minor plus there was some corn in the trees lower down.

Note to self: when skiing in tight trees keep a tidy backpack. I passed a tree and my bundled jacket snagged and brought me to a unexpected and abrupt  stop!
