Blewett Area Conditions
Went up Kings Ridge this afternoon from 2400 - 4,000’. Very odd and wildly variable conditions. Road skinned and skied ok. Ridge had crust layer under 2-4” fluff. Lots of bare areas under trees and on exposed ridgelines. Will be dangerous with new snow unless it gets a whole lot. This report will go for the pass as well. Lots of hard ice, rocks, and trees will be just below the surface if we get just a medium dump of new snow. If you’ve been out lots and know where the bad spots are, there should be good skiing the next few days. The crust under the fluff was breakable and hard to ski today. It was very crowded😉I saw 3 tracks!
50’ right is deeper snow!
With 8” this will be off the hook!
Not by myself
8” will do these up nice as well.
From 3500’ to the top it could be killer the next few days depending on amounts. I hope Im not the only one breaking trail - takes forever. Message me if you want in.
